How to play Atlas
Atlas is a guess-the-country game: find the hidden country in a handful of guesses. Each try gives you the distance, the bearing (an arrow) and whether it shares the same continent, in the spirit of Wordle but on the world map. It is free, plays in the browser and needs no account.

- 1Type a country's name and submit your guess.
- 2Read the clues: how far you are, which way it lies (the arrow) and whether it is the same continent.
- 3Use the counter of possible countries to rule out the ones that no longer fit.
- 4Repeat until you land it, in the Country of the Day or the endless Practice mode.
Tips to score higher
- Open with a central, well-known country to split the map and lock the bearing fast.
- Read distance and arrow together: the two clues almost always point to one region.
- In Practice you train on random countries and build your best streak.
