How to play Standup Bingo
Standup Bingo is buzzword bingo where you build your own card and placement matters: the right cells cross more lines. It is free, runs in your browser and needs no account or install.

- 1Pick 16 words from the pool; each shows how often it gets called (common is safe, rare is a gamble).
- 2Lay the words on the 4x4 grid: the 8 'hot' cells (corners and centre, marked ◆) cross three lines, so put your likeliest words there.
- 3In play, stamp words as they are called and race the rival to complete a line first.
- 4Save your 2 jokers (free stamps) for the right moment: close a line now or hold out for the full card.
Tips to score higher
- The 'potential' meter rises when you concentrate common words on the hot cells; use it to tune your layout before you start.
- You can wager which of the ten lines falls first; a correct call pays 150 points, but the bet locks on your first stamp.
- Once your line is secured you can no longer lose to the rival, so take the risk and chase the full card for more points.
