How to play Icon Age
Icon Age is a game about identifying classic tech and interface icons: you see the drawn symbol and choose what it means from four options. It is free, runs in your browser and needs no login; it is a collectible album, not a strictly daily challenge.

- 1Look at the icon on the card, the kind you see every day on your phone or computer.
- 2Pick the right meaning from the four options, such as Wi-Fi, save or sync.
- 3Get it right and the symbol is confirmed with a fact, and the icon joins your collection.
- 4Continue and complete the album, filtering by System, Connections, Files or AI.
Tips to score higher
- Watch the details that separate close icons, like download and upload by the down or up arrow; completing a category earns a badge.
- Hard mode gives five options and no hint, useful when several icons share the same metaphor, like share and link.
- In Confidence mode you stake 1, 2 or 3 before answering: safe on classics like the save floppy disk, riskier on the ambiguous ones.
